Peter Stothard
Editor of a British newspaper "The Times" he calls Lara to London and tells her about a recent discovery, a golden mask buried in Tutankhamen's tomb, which has been the cause of some strange events. He appears in Tomb Raider "The Times exclusive level"

Ahmed
Hired by Lara he guides her across the Egyptian desert. Within a treacherous sandstorm the two locate "The Tomb of Seth". He later turns out to be an undercover spy for Von Croy.

Professor Werner Von Croy
He first met Lara after a archaeological lecture at her school. He allowed Lara to join him on her first expedition and became her mentor and fellow Tomb Raider but also a ruthless advisory.

Jean-Yves
A close friend and fellow archaeologist after her own heart. He informs Lara about the Armour of Horus and that she must locate and return each piece before Von Croy can carry out his evil plans.

Sergeant Azizas
A soldier of the Egyptian army, he was sent to destroy a creature from their ancient past. Unable to defeat the monster himself, he guides Lara through Cairo and is amazed at her strength and courage.

Seth ( Set-Sutekh)
God of Storms and violence, brother to Osiris and his murderer, and rival of Horus. Lara unleashes him after placing the armour into Horus's statue.
