Eidos Interactive; publisher of the Tomb Raider series; has announced that Tomb Raider: Anniversary gets absolute high scores concerning the sale of the game. The PC version as well as the PS2 version of Lara's new adventure stand on 1st place and the PS2 game was the best sold game with the French. Remarkably, this game is only in stores for hardy two weeks. Receiving such high scores immediately after the release, is more an exception then the rule.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is the remake of the legendary Tomb Raider game of 1996, using the Tomb Raider: Legend engine. The game was released in June for PC and PS2, and will soon come out on Nintendo Wii and PSP.
