January 16, 2004 - It was announced today that Jeremy Heath-Smith and Adrian Smith, two of the creators of Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series of games, have formed Circle Studio. A further 35 ex-Core employees are already working at Circle, and have begun production of two prototypes for current and next-generation platforms. Here's a word or two from Smith:

"Adrian and I are still passionate about games and have the experience and skills, in-house, to continue producing original and successful titles," said Jeremy Heath-Smith. "We've enjoyed working with Lara these past seven years but are looking forward to creating something or someone new."
