During their research of Mayan Mythology, a team from Crystal Dynamics headed for Mexico to get a real feel of the atmosphere and hopefully give them inspiration for Lara's next adventure. The Mayan's have been reported to be very aggressive, and would play a game in the Mayan Ball Court. This consisted of throwing balls through hoops; the loosing team would then be sacrificed.
