SCi Entertainment CEO talks about the company |

Can Eidos Interactive be a world leading company again? MCV has recently interviewed Phil Rogers, new CEO of SCI Entertainment after Jane Cavanagh was forced to resign during a finnancial crisis of the company. Through the interview, Rogers seems to be sure that the answer to that question is an overwhelming yes.
TDespite having had to cancel 14 game projects, Rogers justifies that the company had been working on "too many average games, and in today's environment of lenghtening development cycles and increasing costs, we need to be more ruthless and focus on quality titles." Additionally of the cancelled projects, four of the major 2008 titles -- including Tomb Raider: Underworld -- were delayed, and Rogers said that the main focus of the company right now is to make sure these games are fantastic. As previously reported, some of the projects have been relocated to Eidos Montreal, in Canada, where the government offers economic advantages to the gaming industry.
