According to sources close to Tomb Raider Inc., the Tomb Raider novel series may be continuing.

Following E3, which ended last week, Eidos has renewed its agreement with Ballantine DelRey to continue publishing Tomb Raider novels--- but ---due to the recent tepid reaction to all things 'Tomb Raider', BDR is in no hurry to launch the next wave. Don't expect to see any new LCTR novels from them until at least the release of Legend.

For those unaware, Ballantine DelRey released 3 Tomb Raider novels: The Amulet of Power, The Lost Cult, and The Man of Bronze. That contract only spanned three novels, and until now thoughts of a new contract seemed unlikely.

Tomb Raider Inc. will keep everyone informed on an official announcement from Eidos Inc. or DelRey.
